Hi! I’m Melissa the founder of College-Ready, a blog dedicated to high school seniors and parents to help them get ready for college. I am a single parent of 2 college students and thought I was going to pull my hair out trying to make sure we hit deadlines with the college application &decision process, not to mention getting ready for dorm move in and leaving the nest. There was so much information in so many different places. I put together my own checklist to simplify things. I thought I would write about my own experience here to give tips, tools and tricks to help others. It can be overwhelming!! Also, a major life transition with so much change.
